Ben has been training and coaching high-performers since 2003. He helps executives, teams & businesses maximise sales, manage perceptions & enhance leadership through coaching, workshops, online courses, keynote speaking & facilitation. With experience in the military, he has the ability to deliver timely guidance, helping leaders to identify and execute on goals and priorities.
His expertise is unlocking maximum potential utilising a range of tools infused with his infectious energy and hard-earned experience from a broad range of industries; Ben is a sales and marketing specialist and karate black belt who has held certifications in training, coaching, fitness, IT support, vertical rescue, combat marksmanship & bathroom tiling (to name a few.)
Since his first degree in Music (in “another life”), he has run businesses in Education, Retail, IT, Franchising, Building Trades, Gyms & Corporate Training. Notable achievements include turning around an Apple-reseller to reach #1 in sales in Australia, working “un-guarded” with inmates in a maximum security prison, recording on an international music label, and taking a start-up to a successful multi-million dollar acquisition.
He has spent a large part of his adult life in Sweden with his wife Caroline and 3 children. In Stockholm he was president of the Stockholm Australian-rules Football Federation..... He played in the ruck because he couldn’t (and still can’t) kick straight!Ben knows what it is like to work hard and beat challenges; after moving to Sweden with just a trumpet and back-pack and not speaking the language, within 3 years he and his wife hustled and flipped 4 apartments, worked 4 part-time jobs simultaneously and started their family of 5. Ben brings this drive and passion to his FocalPoint coaching practice and leading by example he will guide any team in any industry to achieve their business and personal goals.
